Gentle Sleep Coach Philosophy

As a mama and a nurse, I know that sleep is not just about getting through the night—it’s about supporting the health and well-being of your whole family. Babies aren’t little robots to be programmed; they’re tiny humans with real needs, rhythms, and emotions. And parents deserve rest, too.

My approach to sleep coaching is gentle, responsive, relationship-based, and rooted in secure attachment. I don’t believe in leaving your child to “cry it out” or using one-size-fits-all methods. Instead, I partner with you to create a plan that fits your baby’s unique temperament, your family’s values, and your season of life.

That said, I’m all about minimizing tears. You’ll never be asked to shut the door and walk away. You won’t be asked to stop co-sleeping or to stop breastfeeding. You’ll stay close. You’ll offer comfort. And I’ll coach you to coach your little one—so you can confidently support them through the change.

Here’s what you can expect when we work together:

Respect for your baby’s needs

I view tears as communication, not manipulation. We’ll respond with compassion while still guiding healthy sleep habits.

A plan that feels good

You’ll never be asked to follow rigid rules that don’t align with your instincts. Instead, I’ll equip you with flexible strategies that feel doable.

Gentle, step-by-step progress

We’ll focus on small changes that build toward big results, helping your baby learn to sleep with confidence and connection.

Support for the whole family

Better sleep benefits everyone—your baby, you, and the rhythm of your home.

I believe that restful nights are possible without sacrificing the bond you’ve worked so hard to build. With encouragement, education, and a gentle touch, we’ll find a way forward that honors both your baby’s needs and your own.

Because when your child learns how to sleep independently, the whole family begins to thrive. And that’s the kind of village I’m building!
